    How many weeks of employment do you need to collect maternity and parental leave employment insurance?

  2. you need to tell us what country you are in to get good info, but i can say if you are in USA the FMLA will only apply if your company is large enough (50+ employees) and employment for 12 months if full time or the equivalent part time, but FMLA only applies to maternity leave, i know nothing about the insurance question… probably talk to HR in your company

  3. Most places in the US you have to work one year to be entitled to maternity or paternity leave but you don’t collect anything b/c they do not pay you unless you have paid leave saved up.

  4. In Canada, you have to work a job for 600 hour before you can collect the leave. Google maternity benefits in whatever province you live in.

  5. In canada I think it something like 300hours. And you have to be with that employer for at least 7 months before the due date.
